Gas tank needle

Ok.....CanD is running like a dream  :good2: except for one thing......the gas gauge......right about a half a tank the needle starts to bounce like a seismometer in California......any ideas how to fix or replace this over excited needle?  :mail1:

If the problem is exclusively below the half-a-tank indications, the sender is probably the cause.  The sender may need some TLC, or maybe the sender needs replacement.  Flakey grounding at the gauge or the sender is another common problem.  Power connections there might also be the cause.  Try running a (temporary) dedicated wire from the sender to the gauge, for ground and/or power, to eliminate or confirm any wire connection problem.
