When purchased, my FJ did not come with a set of brackets for the lower cowling/belly pan forward mounting point. According to Partzilla, they are obsolete and can not be ordered from Yamaha.

This is a link that lists the part number. http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/yamaha/YP-3XW-21149-00-00.html

If anyone has a spare set they are willing to part with, that would be great.

Or loan me the part and I can copy it in both Left and Right if they are handed. It looks like a simple sheet metal part with weld nuts.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Fred,
I can copy those brackets and mail them to you. Let me know, it won't take me long to build a pair of them.

Mark,
I don't have a spare, just the pair on my bike. I could send you a dimensioned drawing and photo if you can make that work.

That would be perfect. See what you can come up with.
