This is a common view that I have while riding here in Kansas. There are many of my riding friends (all ride cruisers) that make statements, that they hate/refuse to ride on the Interstate highways because the view is so boring.  :scratch_one-s_head: News Flash folks..... The view is no different when riding single lane roads.

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

Pipe down, Sarah. :)

Fred, if that view was in my future of riding, I think I'd hang it up. But thanks for posting the pic - that is an eye opener.
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.

That reminds me of some of the roads in Canada, only flatter. Long straight and boring.  :boredom:
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Looks like Iowa, Fred!
The plains just SUCK!

Cruiser country, that's all it is!
That's why 99% of the miles I ride are out of state while attending our rallies!
It also explains why I trailer out, those long straights kill my soft compound tires!!

Fred,
If you are surrounded by roads like that, you may as well run a car tire on the rear and get some longer tire life......save the sticky tires for Arkansas.

If I found myself on something that long flat and straight I would worry about large aircraft landing on me.
