Decided on a different look rather than painting it. I'm really happpy with it. Someone set me a challenge to make my bike look a bit better. This is just the start.
Fred Greenlee had his done on FJ 1300. Thought I'd copy it.
The pieces are just sitting there not quite in position. Just for photo purposes.

Looks good, I'd like my rims done like that.
What the price like?

1972 Honda CB750/4 K2

Cost $150. Got quote from guy in Mulgrave. $600.
Mick at hydro graphics work is superb

That's a good price, you got a good saving.

Looks like he's done a great job Jeff and for a very reasonable price for all those individual parts.

Now, while you've got your wallet open, get some braided front brake hoses, don't worry about the rear or the clutch. The combination of the hoses and EBC HH pads improves the standard brakes dramatically.

IMO

Take a look at a motorcycle wheel being hydro dipped. I thought it came out stunning.

Noel.
I put stock lines back on for the interim as I didn't want to spend silly money and find that they wouldn't fit. I'm more than likely going to change the bars again as I want just a tiny bit higher. These bars were only supposed to be a test but they came out really well. Few alterations required maybe. Work in progress.

Mick at hydro graphics does a great job. I had an issue with the colour. He redone them. No questions asked.
He's got rims there he has done. Also he does work for Holden. He is panel shop as well.  I got a quote from the guy in Mulgrave. He wanted $600 for the same thing.  Thought his mannerism sucked to.
I went searching and micks name kept coming up so I thought I would give him a go. Very obliging and easy to talk to.  Got samples of so much stuff. So many patterns and colours. Hard choices. I just wanted something a bit different instead of boring aged paint and plastic. Aviationfreds FJ1300 has the same that's where I stole the idea.

How durable is the product?

Does it scratch easily?  Peel up?  Wash off with water?

On my 1989, I had the same panels as Jeff has, done a little over two years ago. There was no signs of peel up, the only sign of wear was on the instrument shroud beneath the fuel gauge where the front break lines would make contact when making a left hand turn. It was not easily noticed. Over all I was very pleased with the results and durability after two years.

Jeff, Fred, Isn't there a urethane clear coat over the decals?

Mark is correct as far as mine were done. The clear coat was very well done and gave alot of depth to the look.
