Just purchased in Madrid
The plan is to make a revision last days on next June and make a 5.000 km. trip in a week, go to our annual FJ meeting and bring back to Tenerife to perform a deep rebuilt

It has been a long and hard search for exactly this model, the only one that I've never owned... until today

Looks good Alf.

Has the front of the front fender been cut off?

Curious to know what the exhaust is.  Would it be a Marving from Italy?

Nope. Those cans were built for a popular Spanish brand, Tecnomoto, today dissapeared (happily!) Uglies, painted blacks and upsetting the carburetion

A pair of secondhand XJR 1200 cans are on the way

Yes, it has

I have another 1TX in Tenerife ready for transplant bought last year with a lot of useable parts

When I bring the bike to Tenerife I think I will have to order a lot of parts from you,  :good2:

I liked because it is not the OE colour, that is blue-based. This bike is dark grey based, so its shiny black

It has a strong engine, good transmission and it is near complete. On the bad side, the front suspension is useless, leaking oil for the oil seals, and the steam bearings are shot

After travelling on her on Mainland Spain and Portugal this summer, I will decide if I will keep STD or tuneup the bike with the usuals: rims, suspension, brakes and so on

That's the colors that I'm using on the turbo bike. I have the euro graphics in red. I'm going to make it slightly more blue. If I ever get my house built so I can get back to it.

I wonder what color scheme is the most rare worldwide for the FJ, I do like the darker ones as well as those sleek silver slip stream units, but you blue guys can just be proud with your factory updates and enjoy the rubber mounts and big front tire and zero anti-dive yadda yadda. Great looking J Elf!
