Petcock filter/screen

I can't find a source for a replacement screen-tube for my 1986 petcock.  If you have one or a source I'd appreciate the news.

And you won't find it. Only source is eBay or such places where you have an option to buy the whole, used petcock with good screen or buy complete new.
I had a problem on my '85 where PO punched the screen out of the one of the little "windows". I had a 63 micron (those holes are larger than the OEM screen, but at least it keeps large chunks of something out of the petcock/lines/carbs) cloth that I had sewn on the rest of the plastic, using needle and plain cotton string. Before that I soaked it in gasoline for a week to see if it will degrade.

I've had to replace my petcock twice in the last few years and have two of the plastic screens that reach above the petcock into the tank.  Would be willing to give one up if it's the right one for your bike.  Mine is for the 84 model.

Hey FJbiker84, that would be really kind of you. Far as I can tell it's the same, but if you send it to me and it's not the right one, I'll send it right back. You're in Redondo, I'm in Thousand Oaks, this would be one day by mail. What do you think?
