There is an advantage on using the GSX750F wheel. 17" diameter. A 160 width tire is about as much as the 3.5" width will allow.

Try and locate a 1990-1998 GSX-R750/1100 rear wheel. You can also look for a 1994-1997 Suzuki RF900R sub model T-V http://www.partzilla.com/parts/detail/suzuki/SP-64111-17E12-12R.html

Since the wheel is free, I would give it a go. The following are the exact years and wheel sizes that are used for the Suzuki wheel mod.

Curved spokes
88-89 GSXR750 & 1989 1100: 4-1/2" 17"
90-92 GSXR750 or 1100 5-1/2"x17"

Straight spokes
93-95 GSXR750 5-1/2" x 17"
93-98 GSXR1100 5-1/2" x 17"
93-97 RF900R 5-1/2" x 17"

Other members have used GSXR600 wheels and fabricated rear caliper holding slots.

There are two step by step install threads in the files section.
