Rear spring option question ('90)

Hi,
I was wondering what are the rear spring specifications for a '90.
I'm a big boy and when I ride 2 up there is less than 1" of travel left in the rear suspension. (Preload all the way up)
Is there a spring that I can put on my stock shock that has about 20% more spring rate?
I'm not looking for a whole shock, this is just to get my FJ so it doesn't bottom out on every bump 2 up. I'm too cheap to replace the whole shock LOL.
Thanks for the help!
Scott

eibach 58mm I.D. x 7" should do the trick.

Lindemann can suggest the proper wt spring for your needs but likely 1200-1300 in/lb will be the way to go.

QuoteI went out to Race Tech today to see if they could fit a Gold Valve kit to my FOX shock and they can for $185. I am going to keep looking to see if I can keep the FOX valve and just get the correct shim stack(s) to save $$$, just need to locate info/chart for a starting point for the valving.

Anyway while out there I had them test the OEM spring from my '89 and it is 19.2kg/mm or 1075lbs; so I guessing this will be the same for the  '84 ~'90 models '91 on is a different style. I know most of you guys who run Penske's have 950~1200 springs so this should be OK for my fat $$$.
