beware terminal moditis. I googled this to see what it meant. My head is already spinning. RPM oil adapter, oil cooler, tires, valve and carb. adjustments. and whatever mods I can find on this sight. I looked and can't seem to find some of the most practical and popular mod lists. I'll keep digging though

Never mind I found the baby board. Got to do the relay mod for coil and headlight. Can you tell the difference from RPM's oil cooler and stock?

I'm just going to throw out some of the most popular mods:
17" front wheels
Blue (or gold or silver) dot front brake calipers
RPM spin on oil filter adapter (I highly recommend it)
GSXR 750/1100 rear wheel swap (also highly recommended)
Better mirrors so you can see more than just your shoulders.
This is just a small list of the mountain of mods that you can do to FJs. You are only limited by your imagination, mechanical skills and budget.

In my desert region, hot summer riding, about 40 degrees.

+1 My big motor runs cooler than the stock motored bike with stock cooler.

On my big bore engine the temperature mirrors Pat's comment. The RPM oil cooler has the oil temps about 30-40 degrees cooler in the 95-105 degree summer days.

Another convenient mod that has not been mentioned. An engine oil temp gauge.

Twelve rows of cooling compared to five on the stock cooler.

Thanks Randy that's what i meant. Could I see if the bike had already had the upgrade done. Video of bike. Not me but the dude I bought it from. Does anyone recognize the bike from one of the owners before me on the forum.

At about 14 sec it looks like it has stock oil lines, but not real clear.

PM his name and I can see he ever bought any parts from me.

Charles,
You found a clean one! I had a 1990 in those colors, but it was not nearly as nice looking as yours. Enjoy the Kookaloo!

Charles is who I bought it from. I'm Mickey. Yeah couldn't believe how clean it was either. I think the bike came from Utah or somewhere out west. Somehow it got on the east coast. I'll be hitting you up shortly Randy for the filter adapter and oil cooler. Thanks for telling me how to ID the cooler.
