Hey I own a 1994 Kawasaki Concours and on their forum they have what they call wrenching sessions. People would get together over a weekend and perform routine maintenance, share knowledge on the Concours, eat good food and drink cold beverages. It was mostly oil changes, syncing carbs, valve adjustments, and so on. Things that could be done in a day. Have y'all  gave  any thoughts to this. I just bought a 1990 FJ and would love to gain knowledge of the FJ from experienced owners as I have with the Concours forum members. Thanks Mickey from South Carolina

Yep, we call them Man Shed Days, and in the last few years on the west coast the Renegade rally at Randy's shop RPM he has all the FJ goodies and some very nice roads to get your Kookaloo on. But feel free to host an event or beg for one if you are in need.

Yeah probably not going to make it to the other side of the U.S. I'll have to see how many owners are in the southeast. Under what link do y'all list the MAN Shed Days. Thanks

General discussion or maintenance, so no section is dedicated for this.

The folks in Ontario have been at it since 2012 in the present incarnation, at a few host locations. One day clinics and mostly on the topics Mickey mentioned. Sometimes a ride after lunch is possible, depending on peoples' schedules, or if there are bikes still needing work. It's a good formula to keep things interesting.

We try to keep in good stead with Yamaha Canada and they've been great with merch' to hand out and this year they also sent a beautiful banner we'll be keeping. RPM Racing provided a banner this year.

There will be older topics about the clinics somewhere in the forum but I can't locate them just yet. They usually take place in May.

Heyyyyy... I never got a water bottle.... :cray: Definitely ask around. Even if you can only get two or three together, that's better than one.  Most of us in Ontario are spread out enough that some have to travel 2-3hrs to attend our annual spring clinic (that's what we call them).  Good luck.
