I'm pondering dropping my front 1/2 inch.simply sliding the forks up is my idea.anyone done this.results?

I've dropped the front 17mm and raised the rear, the difference is subtle but it's there and worth doing.

IMO

Same here, noticeable difference in handling, especially at turn-in.
