Hey all. Just had a quick question regarding front wheel figment on an FJ 11. Just got my first bike and am looking to do the GSXR rear swap but am wondering if I can just slap an FJ12 front wheel into the FJ11 forks. I'm sure it's been answered before, multiple times. I'm pretty broke and don't  really want to get a whole 1200 front end. Any help is appreciated, thanks!!

I believe the 17" FJ wheel will fit into the anti-dive forks. The problem lies in the brake rotors. The '84-'87 rotors have a diameter of 282mm's and the '89 and later rotors are 298mm's, and the rotors are not interchangeable.

Something to keep in mind. If you find a set of '89 or later forks, the tubes can be bent and not usable. Your 1100 tubes will work in the '89 and later fork lowers.
