Pulled the trigger on a Corbin gunfighter seat. Purchased from a fellow FJ forum member (apparently sold the FJ though). Hope to see it in on the door step in a week or two. Thanks again Steve.

His bike was an 89 mine is an 86. Best I can tell it should work. If someone knows better please let me know.

Seats are all the same.  I swap my Corbins between my '85 and '93 all the time.

:yahoo: Cool!  The seat seems to be in like new condition. Steve made me a very fair deal. Thanks for the reply. I feel much better.  :good2:

Now I have to polish my headers, repaint and repair the lower fairing so my bike does not look so worn next to yours. My Corbin was all I had going for me over your 86'. :dash1:
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

'86 Ambulance - Bent frame, cracked case, due for an overhaul
'89 Stormy Blue - Suits my Dark Side

They all look the same at 80 miles an hour, in the snow, at night.   :drinks:

so how much did you have to give for it?

When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

$225 plus shipping. If it is like new as adevertised, I feel good about the purchase. From Corbin thier $369 plus shipping (if I recall correctly).
