I'm getting my 1991 fj1200 going and ran into a random connector that isn't plugged into anything. The wires are black and brown. It leaves the wiring harness right by the fuel pump. I appreciate any help.

I believe that is a connector that's used on a Cali emissions equipment.  Under the right sidecover?

It's a good source for a switched lead for running relays for the headlights or coils, or a power distribution assembly.

So what your saying is that it isn't important?? Lol

It's a nice switched 12v source if you have anything to hook up...   :unknown:

That is correct. 49 state FJs do not have anything plugged into it from the factory.
