Last night I had a few extra moments so I tore down the forks to get a leaking seal fixed. What I found was the left fork had already leaked out on the last guy and the right fork leaking was my indicator to fix them both. I used  10 w oil  ( I'm a bigger guy 250 lbs) and figured I'd try that with the stock springs. To my surprise no more bottoming out and the bike rides really responsive and agile now. Damper rods take a bit of finessing to get in correctly but when you get it right it falls right into place. I feel a road trip coming on.
