Hey guys,

I have  a 17" pilot power on a 90 fj front wheel with 2k mi on it , I am switching to a fzr 1000 front  wheel with the 3 1/2 width.

does anybody think there would be a problem going from the 3" to the 3 1/2" and using the same tire?

the tire is in great shape with no cupping or feathers and looks evenly worn with lots of tread left.

as money is tight these days, I don't want to buy a new tire if I don't have to.

so what would you do if it was you? try it and see how it goes or is this nuts and the tire is already set .

Before buying a second set of rims for my street/track bike I regularly swapped the street tires on and off for track days with no worries. I had a Pirelli front that was swapped on and off at least 5 times.

Thanks for the input
