Sounds good. Last May at FJ Johnnie's was the only time I could get away for a scheduled FJ day in 2015.
To get the date figgerin' worked on, if my work situation stays the same, May 7 or 21 are available, and June 4 and 18. But I'd book off if I have to.

Thanks for the push guys. The spring clinic will be on the 21st of May. It's a Saturday. Mark it on your calendars. Not sure what the theme will be this year. Perhaps," It was a long warm winter, why isn't your bike ready yet?". Or something. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do let me know. I will send a PM to anyone who does not have my address.

Thanks for hosting this, johnnie V (V is for viagara).  Should be a great time..

Idea for a theme might be: How to Fish your keys out of the Gas tank!   :rofl2:  Im sure there would be someone here to give us some direction eh?

Seriously, .....there has been mention of some guys looking to get their carbs synced....  I can bring my manometer,  and there are others who might be able to as well.  The more, the better...

Any other suggestions?

I'm probably a no-go.  Scheduled to work that Thurs-Sat night (May 19-21).  We have a new floater guy to fill in but I don't know if he will be trained enough by then.  He has three jobs to be trained in so it may take some time.

If by some miracle I can book it off, then I will let you know ASAP.  I'm in the midst of installing some new floats (I know I promised I wouldn't touch them again, but... :sorry:).  First though I have some f'ing screws that are stuck.  I bought the allen head replacement kit from RPM when I got the floats.

I have a Motion Pro synch tool, so if I can't go, anyone coming from east or maybe north of Toronto can swing by my place and pick it up.  I'm only about 5min south of the 401 in Scarborough.

I would like to get down there but I dont have the onions to ride down there across all that congestion and cagers that are trying to kill me, I live east of Bancroft and dont mind to travel but I stay away from 4 lanes of traffic. I know many of you know my area and the only complaint I have heard are that some of the roads are a little bumpy, since I have the RPM rear shock I laugh at those bumps now plus it makes for a little excitement. There is some excellent riding up here otherwise and maybe I can set up a meet and greet get together up here and go for a nice rip for those who love north of seven this summer. If I had to choose a topic for a clinic it would be understanding the shim bucket design and setting the valves on the FJ.

I think a carb sync would be great as my 88 hasn't had it done since I've owned it and  I'd like to learn how to do it for my 2 other fjs.
If we don't do carb syncs perhaps some sensitivity training would be in order for the bullies in our fj group.
