Ok.....Now that I have your attention  :rofl2:

There have been countless posts about handle bar vibration. Specially on the '84-'90 models. I am not going to discuss the merit's of Foam grips, the RPM Vibranators, syncing your carbs, doing a valve adjustment. Yes..... It has been discussed that the fore mentioned trio will help with vibrations.

A recent chat with Randy brought something to the playing field. The much sought after and elusive Wednesday built FJ. Much more common are the Monday or Friday built FJ's. The ones that no matter what you do..... You can not take the vibrations out of the handle bars.

I have found a great addition..... Grip Puppies. These are a thin dense foam sleeve that you slip over existing standard rubber type hand grips. My non scientific logic is that the solid rubber of the hand grip paired with the dense foam of the Grip Puppies create the best vibration dampening of any single style of Hand grip.

Google them to find a retailer. They are also plentiful on Amazon and eBay.

They sure do work. Only thing is i found every couple of years i have to replace the clutch lever side
one as where my thumb wraps around it wears them out... Throttle side one is still the original..

That's EXACTLY what I've been using over my heated grips, except mine are sold as "foam sleeving" and come without any packaging from an Australian retailer called Clark Rubber or as foam handlebar grips for bicycles.  Both of these come as ~12" long sections, so you do have to cut them to length.

Glad (?) to see that someone has taken a generic product, re-packaged and re-named it, marked the price up and is now selling it as a bespoke "motorcycle" product.  :ireful:

We have a very similar product here in Australia called "Pussy Grips" good product,  and really reduces the vibrations.

Not too sure if the name "Pussy Grips" would work here in the states.

this is a crack up --- well I guess if you have to decide on whether you are a Dog person or a Cat person --- maybe a poll is required.
