GEICO Roadside Service

Anyone ever have to use the GEICO roadside service?  After my disappointing experience with the new AMA roadside assistance program I went checking my policies.

I can get the "Towing and Labor" service added to the bike insurance for $8/year.  And I can add the roadside service to the GEICO policy for about $30/year.

Wondering if they are any better.

Just sitting at home waiting for the "monster, blizzard, biblical storm of the century" to arrive.  The news is showing grocery stores with their shelves barren.  Amazing.

FWIW, I liked the service I had from a club serviced by GE Motor Club (there are a few) a lot better than AAA.

If you need a tow, there's a big difference.

AAA offered 2 miles of "free" towing, then something like $2.50/mile.

GE MC had free towing for up to 100 miles.
