...just in time for christmas!

After I laid'er down 10 days ago today the cluth lever as the last required part arrived!

So I can start the work: getting the hits out of the tank & prepare for paintjob, replace the fairing holding assy, weld the front fairing, replace sidecovers, screen, headlight, instrument panel, inner fairings, handlebar, grip, lever & switches, left engine cover, front fender, fork, seat, luggage holder, footrests, holding plate & gearchange lever - just the regular stuff when you lay the thing down to the left at 90 km/h :pardon:

Merry Christmas to all of you FJ'ers out there!

Cheers, Jo

Merry Xmas Jo...This is the first I've heard of your accident. Did you get injured? Are you ok?

I too had a low side accident a couple of years ago and thank God for my gear. Thge bike is all repaired and all my injuries are healed but surprisingly the longest to heal was my dislocated left thumb. It's finally back to full strength although it will let me know when rain is coming.

Cheers!   Pat

Sorry responding so late, Pat, but anyway; thanks for your thoughts and wishes and a Happy New Year for you!

Nothing went wrong; just laid downs a bike (FJ this time);happened some times in the past and will in the future...
No major injuries, just shook a bit. No rashes 'cause of gear (I'm not REALLY ATGATT, but mostly), so evrything will be good as soon as I find the time to repair my FJ.

I'm a bit busy at the moment... as you might have heard we have some refugees over here. I live just 10 miles from the largest registration camp in Germany and we have 8% refugees among my hometown's inhabitants... Furtheron I just plan the third trip to the Syrian border to deliver another 100 tons to those camps there in Turkey.

Cheers Jo
