I visited the FJR Owners forum to see if I can get an explanation on what they (Yamaha) mean by the "D Air System" but no go.

Is it something to do with the suspension?

edit: I found it...its an air bag vest by Dainese: http://www.dainese.com/us_en/d-air/#time_7

That's the way to do it.  :good2:

So should it be called a "D Bag System" Pat?

....only if it comes with a hose. :gamer:

I bet one of those fancy schmancy air bag vests would have saved me 5 broken ribs on my low side accident.....that really really hurt.

Ouch.....for quite a while brother.
It does sound like a nice bike that would perfect for those long rides following retirement. I have ridden the latest version of the Goldwing and it is very nice....not a bulky as one would think. Still I would prefer something a bit more "sporty" looking.
I was down in Valdosta, Georgia for the MAN Cup drag races about 3 weeks ago. For the 1 day I was able to be at the track I saw a guy drag racing a Kawasaki ZG14 Concours......just took the windshield off. High 10's if I remember correctly. :good:
