http://www.dallasnews.com/business/headlines/20151130-epa-boosts-amount-of-ethanol-in-gasoline-supply.ece   Don't much like Senator Cruz from Texas as a Presidential candidate but have to agree with him on ethanol when he says this is just "corporate welfare". Ethanol does not reduce much if any hydrocarbon emissions and increases the cost of food. Looks like more ethanol in the tank for us.   Dave

Mustn't forget about the poor corn farmers and their powerful lobby group either.

The way I read it, more ethanol will become available for use in blending. My worry is that in the smog states they will start mandating E15

E10 is bad enough.

Interesting little artical on removing ethanol.  Might be a PITA for regular riding season but could be worth it for storing bikes during winter months.

In a nutshell:  So how do you remove the ethanol from E10? It's quite simple, actually - just add water! Remember, ethanol binds strongly to water. All you need to do is add some water to the gasoline, agitate to make sure it mixes well, then let it sit for a few minutes. The water will bond with the ethanol, and it will phase-separate out, falling to the bottom of the container.

Yeah....I use VP small engine fuel. 94 octane and ethanol free. Smells like the old Testor's model glue (Toluene I'd guess). Great stuff but not cheap.
