He did post so in theory he is still on green side of the grass.

Just left FJmonkey a phone message, thanks for the call bro. Nope... thought I was a goner pitched it to the left locked up both brakes both tires smokin and punched out. Thank God for no on coming traffic. Just got back from the bar took a while to kool off. But I'm still going to report that asshole. Apparently it's easier to go into the on coming traffic lane to get to the driveway of the client.

I'll be back next week waiting for that fuck shit! Same bat time same bat channel... :diablo:

Yes that really bloowwwws.  Just be careful if you confront the truck next week, as it may not be the same driver.

And don't do what I did to the Bell techy guy.  Trying to punch somebody's face in at a red light through their open window doesn't work that well.  Damn seat belt kept getting in the way...

I had a similar experience back around 1990 when I had my '78 R80.  It was in town and I was toddling back to work from lunch.  A garbage truck came from a sidestreet and pulled right out in front of me going the same direction.  I pulled out to go around him as he was going at a crawl, when he decides to make an immediate left turn.

I tried to avoid him by going left too, but he was cutting the corner so I had to dump the bike.  The only reason he stopped was because of the women on the sidewalk who screamed as she saw me go under the truck.  I was staring up at the driveshaft with the rear wheels only a couple of feet from crushing my legs, and whatever else beyond that.

It cost about $1300 to repair the bike - a new tank, exhaust pipe, rocker cover and other bits.  The city wouldn't pay up until it went to court, where he was eventually convicted of careless driving or an unsafe turn.  Anyhow it took a total of about 6 months before I got the money back.

I was still young enough to shake it off and had no injury to myself.  Just be thankful you got a way from that scot free with no damage to you or the bike.

Now you can sue for emotional distress etc., and retire!   :good2:

I've seen a lot of shit but nothing as stupid as this. I know what he looks like as I looked back he opened the door and looked back at me to see if I was was still alive. Spanish looking male late 30's shoulder length black curly hair white t shirt. My intention was to video tape that driveway to see if he does the same thing. Then get the number of the company and file a complaint against that driver. I'll take pics of the skid marks tomorrow, and see if can get a hold of the owner and get the company's name and number.

This idiot should not be driving trash trucks in the cyns. Can I really file for that PaulG?

Since I don't live there and ize ain't no lawyer, maybe this will explain it better   http://commonlaw.findlaw.com/2012/05/when-can-you-sue-for-emotional-distress.html.  You just say you can't ride now without going into panic attacks or something.  Of course you need documentation from someone qualified like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMy5NZWFtnE

But I just figgered if you could sue over this stuff and sometimes win - you can sue for anything really   :pardon:
