Not sure if we get that brand in Australia,
I have been using RainX for a few years now, Amazing stuff!  When used on the helmet visor the water beads off clean, no wiping with the glove anymore.  I use it on the cars too.
Squeaky wheels always get the grease...

Yes, have used Rain X, and car wax too. I have read that plastic doesn't always agree with Rain X on it, but when I have used it,  I experienced no ill effects. Though I only used it a handful of times, and not always on the same motorcycle. I have read too, that supposedly, there's a plastic-friendly version of it.

I also saw that Pledge, a furniture wax of all things, will work too.

Like I said above, I'm just throwing the Nikwax thing out there, because it's something new. At least I hadn't seen it before, and I may give it a try.

RainX doesn't like Lexan.  Beware, it will cloud it up.  Buddy found out the hard way on his softail.

I've got a bottle of the Nikwax. Got it from the bike gear shop that use to be in Telico.
Works good.
Are visors made of lexan?
I've got a transitions shield on my Bell helmets and I'm always worried that it will get messed up using chemical's. Don't know if the transitions is a Coating. Or if it's built in to the plastic?

Dan, knowing your magnetism towards the dawn dwelling four legged fur covered bags of meat you encounter, this video might help you choose the proper see-through protective plastic you use as both a windscreen and visor.

And the transition effect is formulated into the material, not a coating.

You can always use a test area on your visor off to the side. We never see that far over with the helmet on. Unless you can see like a chameleon.

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Yah the last thing I slammed my body into was the dirt. Probably around 60ish mph. Was topped out with the raptor, before hitting the brakes briefly.
But thanks Mark. I figured it was part of the plastic but wasn't sure.

69 degree's out going for a spin on the 89. Probably the last nice day.

I generally use Pledge as a cheap alternative to Plexus or the Honda cleaner.  I've alternate with the Amsoil spray cleaner.  But I've found the wax-like properties of Pledge on my visor improves the water shedding by a good bit.  FYI.
