R6 Side Stand

no pic here but, you need to fiddle with it to create a little arc shape so that it will ride on the switches plunger better
-so close...

ok, insert tires skidding to a stop noise here
2 pics back, notice the allen bolt that holds the actuator to the stand on the backside of the stand
well, there is no clearance for it when you put the stand up- it hits the frame
i am pretty sure there is still room for the actuator without the bolt
there is no way i could weld that skinny piece of metal to that thick piece of stand, i will have to take it to a SKILLED welder
i do feel it will be easy as the bolt can hold the parts as they are tacked then either removed or welded in and ground off
if someone sees another path here, i would appreciate your input

I need this mod for my FJ as she leans way too far over with the stock unit now....  is the R6 stand longer than the R1 unit?

I am going to look for some "samples" to work with....

This may be an option for you.   It's still holding up after 2 years of use, and it's pretty easy to do. You'll love the grippy- softish feel when you set the bike down on the stand too.
