OK so maybe I am a little too excited but I just did my first valve adjustment on my recently purchased 89 fj1200.
I just wanted to thank every one on this site for the info that is available for people like me.  I have only been riding since last year and  the thought of taking the new toy apart really was scary for me atleast.  Well I am hooked and I have a feeling I will be doing all my own work because of you guys.  Thank you all so very much!!!!!!!
