Check it out.

I need a sunny day and a dry road.

I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'?

"Well. I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine."

Kopfjaeger

hope your talking bout the bike not offering your services :blum2:

I can't quite make out the air bag decal on the tank, need a close up.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

Love the handlebar mods. Always wanted to do that.

Please let us know what mod you did on the handle bars.  After riding k-man's OZ FJ with the USD forks the setup of the handlebars I want to change the stock ones on my '87.

Quotewhat's the strap near the rear indicator

That is part of the topcase mount. I started to put it on b4 remembering the camera. I may modify the mount for a cleaner look.

Speigler LSL superbar kit with hotgrips.  I sit a lot better on the bike with it on. Very high quality and easy install.
The only unresolved component is some kind of throttle lock or cruise control. Can't decide.

Thanks for the nice comments. I'd like to hit that WCR and ride with you guys but the timing and distance are complicated. When the Avons wear out, a 17" rear wheel will be the next mod. Probably should have done it first.

Looks very smick.  Keep it shiny side up.

I too regard the spiffy bars with envious eyes. What top tree did you use??
The colour is terrific and really suits the Fj.
Bring it along to the WCR and you'll sure of a great time.

I have a feeling it's just the stock FJ upper triple.  Drilled to mount the risers for the bars.

Distance?  Where are you located?  I ride every year and depending on location it's between 550-650 miles one way for me.  :)
