In Oklahoma each pump must be marked according to the amount of ethanol. This allows us to avoid ethanol and has led to a significant number of stations selling non ethanol gas. Fill the tank then go for a ride and forget for awhile.

In Texas it is the law that the ethanol content is labeled on the pump. More than one distributor has been caught blending more than 10%. There are only 19 gas stations in the entire state of Texas with non ethanol gas and for whatever reason are located nowhere near major metropolitan areas.  Dave

Huh.. I remember there being talk of increasing to E15 a couple of years ago, but lately I've seen a number of articles on the guberment discussing repealing the ethanol mandate..

It would appear no one really knows WTF is going on in the guberment.  Not even the guberment themselves..

I found this website that lists ethanol free gas stations in the US and Canada.  Handy if you want to find some in your area or while out cruising or on a trip.  There are apps for iPhones and Androids.  You can also add stations to it if they're not listed.

Could have used this on my trip to Texas in '13.  Some stations had gas that smelled like pure ethanol, could barely smell any gas from the fumes  , even though it said otherwise.
