The 2015 Iron Butt Rally is in day six today.  http://www.ironbuttrally.com/IBR/2015/Day6.pdf   Interesting reading especially on the type of bikes being used and the problems riders are having with them. The BMW's are dropping like flies. Someone on the site wondered if BMW's days of being the preferred long distance machine are over. In the old days most repairs could be made on the road with the tool kit provided with your BMW. One dead Beemer was replaced by a loaner FJR.  Best coverage is the thread on the FJR Forum.
