2015 NorCal Renegade Rally. Sept 18th-20th

It is 3:47 in the morning, on Sunday following the 2015 Renegade Rally. I got home a little while ago, took a shower and now I cant sleep.

I hope everyone had a great time.

We had FJ's as far as the eye could see...



After a great lunch and ride to the dam.

If you look closely, there is one member who attended three FJ rally's in the span of seven days, Colorado Mini, East Coast Fall in Tennessee and 2015 Renegade rally in California.

After the ride to the end of highway 49.

This is the view when looking the other way, look closely, you can see the twisty road go right off of the top of the picture.

We ate very well both nights.



And finally all of the bikes and their proud owners at their side tucked in on Friday night.

In case anyone missed it this weekend, Pat is testing new "mini mirror fairings" that are supposed to keep mirror vibrations down.






We are just trying to work out a consistent way to make sure they are all the same shape, texture & color. Right now it has been difficult at best as they want to curve all different ways and the tips are getting burned...

What an amazing couple of days.....   Huge thanks to Randy and family for hosting the group.  The food was outstanding!!   A thank you to Mark Olson too....  Renegade Rally Founder....  this meet can no longer be considered an "also ran"......  the Renegade Rally has most definitely arrived!  Great to see old friends again and to meet new ones! Looking forward to the next one already.

It is very difficult to make Harley parts work on an FJ and make them fit like they belong.  Were these from an Electraglide?

No no, not at all......  these were the FXLGHSTSZXH units...   umm wait, ahhh...   Street Glide..... yeah that one.

I am happy to report that the wind buffering deflectors worked as promised.
Expect to see them offered on the RPM website soon.

Although something needs to be done about the flies.
