Had a nice ride yesterday, one of my normal loops starting at the lower end of the Crest and hitting some watering stops along the way. My GPS indicated that "Klavdy's Corner" (My tag for it) was coming up. Look what I found....

The day was overcast so no shadows for the pine cones to hide in like the day Klavdy went body surfing on the black top. Be safe out there....

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

There are two types of people in the world...Those who put people into categories...and those who don't.

Did you clear the few cones that were on the center lines?

I'm not the fastest FJ rider, I am 'half-fast', the fastest slow guy....

They are a bit further down the mountain now, gravity is still working....

They look like they are just waiting to dart out underneath the wheels of an unsuspecting rider.......................Kinda like squirrels.

I remember seeing shadows in this corner as it was a nice sunny day in SoCal. A good place to hide and wait for the perfect moment to pounce. Now every time Frank (Flynt) fires up his FJ, all the pine cones collectively cower and hope they are over looked and not chosen this day.  :diablo:

Damn, and I thought we had it bad in the Pacific Northwest with illegal gravel.   :shok:

Update, the corner is clear...

The image edit really sucks, I cannot rotate any image loaded in the gallery. So sorry for the image rotation. Moderators, any help is would be nice. I rotate an image 90* and I see it has not changed after I change it. Then when I post it is either still sideways or upside down...  :flag_of_truce:

Then I was stopped from my ride, I think the recent rain has blocked the way to Wrightwood...

Bugger!!!

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.
