I have been down that road, no center line in places as you could see in the video. Mike in San Dimas nearly lost a friend that had a head-on with a vehicle while riding his bike on the same road. The last WCR had a section of similar road with no center line, miles of blind turns and full on pucker...  :shok:

Looks like, in the video, he had just poured on some more coal right before entering that last curve, ran wide on exit, and target fixated on the truck!

Tough day on two wheels, that's for sure.

Yeah, I agree...  Those single lane roads are tough in the best of circumstances, but a fire truck is a  w i d e  rig for sure.  They were well over to their side, but I think the rider had about 40 things going through his mind the instant he saw that fire truck.  You can see a desperate shot at wobbling the handlebars almost in confusion.  Poor dude...I can't imagine that sinking feeling that, "This is GONNA hurt."   :shok:

There are two types of people in the world...Those who put people into categories...and those who don't.

It does he had gassed it as was said, but the wobble & wiggle seemed like he was out of balance the just at moment he saw the truck & then kept looking at it, and not where he needed to go.
