I have not purchased this unit, YET.
I think it would be a wonderfully easy way to repair ABS plastic items, like cracked or broken fairings.

Arnie, an issue I see with using this pen is that it doesn't heat up the substrate which would make for a better bond.. You would simply be adding the melted ABS on top of the cold repair. Unless you can use the tip to heat up the repair.  I simply use a soldering iron and scrap ABS pieces  and they hold up very well.
