This one has got to be right up there with Skymaster's full-engine-diesel-dunk, rebuild from a bare frame a week before the WCR...I finally finished this rally prep today!!!  With just a few days remaining...I'm cutting it close!

Look at that, a Throttle locker and a Brake locker...

All I did yesterday was install a Tourmaster wire harness. Just in case it gets too chilly.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Since Ron tends to stay up later than many of us he also sleeps in later, so I will take crack at it. He re-bled his brakes, the cable tie is a debated technique for getting the last of the air out. Compress the fluid overnight and the next day all is better.

[edit] The throttle lock is existing.

Yep...just woke up!

I was up late last night putting that zip tie on the brake lever.

Compared to Skymaster's Herculean effort, I thought I would contrast it with the least effort possible.  That's all I did to the hydraulic end of things.  Just attached the zip tie and went to bed.  This morning, I snipped it off and voila!  ...harder brake lever feel!  I think the debate is *why* it works not *if* it works.  It's magic I say!   :good2:

If I'm being honest, I also replaced the front brake pads with EBC HH pads.  I'll finally get to see what everyone is on about.

The ones I removed:

After 12,000 miles, those suckers didn't owe me a DIME!    :shok:

Oh, and that IS a glass of wine on the garage floor...

That was late last night.  No wine before 5!   :good2:

Well, unless I'm tasting at a winery, then it's no wine before 10:00am...'cuz that's when they open.
