+1, never had a smoked chook before. But it was a hit at our place last night, your mate is onto a winner there Doug,

Thanks again!

ahhh ye of little faith...you thought I made up that story ay.  Indeed it was true! (Okay okay, the chook was defeathered and not alive when Frank snuck it in after the hams, but tha rest is Manfact).
Now to take you to the next Culinary level requires same Chook, a sophisticated pallete, Rice, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 1 Zucchini and another secret ManIngredient that is presently on the way via stealth security to Arnie`s kitchen for testing & appraisal.

.....I`ll save this educational morsel for the first Manshed campfire!  ...and if necessary I will bring my new camp oven! (The old one hasn`t returned to Earth yet!)

Meanwhile I`ll continue working on our very own air forced "Thermate" (Like Thermite but with Aussie ingenuity!), as an appropriate ignitor...Just needs a little more tweaking!  :drinks:

Anyway, another great day was had by all. Funny thing is they are over all too soon! As mentioned, Tony has a great clean space which makes working on the bikes a joy, and has spurred me on to cleaning 20 years of crap out of my shed. Food was top notch, especially those Kardashian Curry Sausages, man they were good. What I really liked though that getting together and doing some work made me realize I have been neglecting the Project '92 in my shed, (too many other things to do), and I'm back into it now with gutso.

Special mention to Rob (Dayta) who if he was charging mechanics rates would have made a small fortune on the day with the carb work and shim jobs he did, well done mate!  Good to catch up and I book first ride in the sidecar next time General,  :yahoo:

Evening all, I've made it back to the sunny drizzly state of VIC in one piece. As everyone has said, a big thanks to Tony for the day and his hospitality.

A big thanks also to Rob for doing the carb-sync - she ran like a dream on the way south and also settled in at 1100 rpm at idle by Sunday. Thanks again. I'll crunch the numbers and see if there was any difference - truck oil aside!!

The intention Doug wasn't to set any bar - I just needed a ride. And your secret ingredient is unopened but may have a short wait to get to Arnie's...

The scenery up there is amazing, I'll try and drop a few photos in here if I can...

Hand update. After seeing the show (Blues Brothers) on Saturday night I wandered up to the ED at Prince Charles (been drinking - no riding) - patiently waited while the serious one's got attended to. My turn came and the nurse took one look and asked how I had cut it - she said the cut was cleaner than the rest of the hand. No serious damage, tetanus shot, bugger off. So all credit to you Tony for your beautifully kept backyard and thanks to Glenn Sully for "encouraging" me to get it looked at. The paramedics I stayed with on Sunday were underwhelmed with the injury, but glad I'd had it seen too...

It was great to catch up - so best wishes to all. p.s. Darran - all the law-enforcement personel just waved to me on the way home...

That must have been before you crossed the border back into Vic!

That ridge across from the helipad in your photo Glen looks spectacular on a rainy day when there is cloud spilling over the top of it. And on a clear day in summer when the sun first hits it, ahhhh it's very nice  :good2:

How dare you go over the speed limit DT! Don't you know that every K over is a Killer!!

I made a $227 donation a couple of months back, along that dead straight service road 30 secs after leaving home. It should have been $349, but the nice cop took pity on me. :cray:

Those couple of pipes & clamps I had at Tony`s got installed yesterday when I got hold of a pipe bender. A mate did the weld and it`s absolutely solid.

I know, I know, it looks like something mad max built and if anyone asks, it`s my lineal high performance anti sway bar!.....but next time Ken comes for a run he should be able ta pry himself back out of that tub, No Prob!

Glad you and that bottle made it home safe Glen.

Now I`m off to the powder coater`s and foam rubber joint too!  :drinks:

At times Ray I wonder how any of us still have a license the way the government chasers our money.

That looks much better than it would have with straight pipes Doug, wheres the cup holder?

Bones

All you blokes must be hoons,  I haven't copped a fine or lost a single point off my licence for the last 27 years. It's a wonder nobody's ever spotted the halo above my head.
