Yamaha FJ Rider (Kurt) and I were originally planning on a Thursday arrival and we have now decided to be at the rally on Wednesday - 5/27. We will be leaving our Utah neck of the woods at about 7:30 am and we should arrive at the rally in the late afternoon/early evening.  I'm eager to to show off my new RED perforated boots.

Better take along some warm socks and rain gear  .  Scroll down and take a look at the graph :).  Hope it changes for the rally.

Even cooler in Hill City.

Rain gear will be packed and new hard bags are not supposed to leak. We are planning on ridding but keeping the option of towing the bikes to the rally. Weather will be the deciding factor. Truck and trailer are on stand by. Looking forward to a great rally.

Yes a good ride. Looking forward to it. Almost all will be at 80 to 85 MPH. I-80 on the way over, get to the rally fast and if things work out take route 50 back home. Route 50 is called the loneliest road in America. This should too much fun.

George, get off the fence and join us.

The only problem with Route 50 is there are to many people on it :))).  Not lonely enough... Dress warm, higher elevations than one would think.

We are loading up on Saturday the 30Th for an early departure on Sunday for the BHR.  Kind of concerned about the weather but still pressing forward.  Can always divert to warmer climates.  I sent LAMike a PM on getting funds to him for the cap and shirt.  Hoping he can send the shirt up with the cap.

Will try to meet up with you after the rally when the weather clears.  Been rain and wind here the last few days but the bike is ready to go.  You guys please ride safe.
George

Thursday, Kai (chainus) found out the vacation he put in for and was told it was approved, wasn't or at least not all of it. He was supposed to be off Wednesday through Sunday but it turns out due to a paperwork mistake Thursday through Sunday is all that was approved. After finding this out he did everything possible to correct it without any success. So we will be arriving Thursday late afternoon or early evening. Sorry we thought we could be there on Wednesday but things did not work out. We will still be there for the rally just not when we hopped for.

I read on another post for the central rally. That FJScott crashed his dirt bike, broke his wrist and won't be making the rallies. That sucks. Scott sorry to hear that and hope you have a full and quick recovery.
