I ventured into the world of Hydro graphics. I saw a set of inner plastic pieces done in carbon fiber on one of the FJ Facebook pages and decided that it may be a good cure for mine. The previous owner had dripped brake fluid on it in a few spots.

Fred,
Is that a process where the graphic "ink" is a film on water, and the part is lifted up through it?

An art classroom I once supported had a printer for glass and ceramics that used that method.

Fred - how durable is the finish?  Other options for colors or patterns (or lack of patterns!)

It has only been 4 days since I got the pieces back. I can not vouch for the durability. The owner of the shop told me the finish is a durable as the OEM paint that is on our FJ's.

For colors and patterns, here is a website that has a selection. http://www.ozarkshydrographics.com/designer-patterns.html
