Now a Category 5 hitting the coast (Yeppon) preciseley coinciding with a King Tide 3 hours from Now! A Perfect Storm Surge.

I can`t believe it will still be a category 1 when it hits Munduberra! (On the Burnet River). The drop bear will have to swim me thinks!  (popcorn)

Haven't had much rain out my way yet, 25mm overnight, but at work yesterday they were busy filling sandbags to hand out in preparation.

Category 5 is the worst you can get with wind gusts up to 300kmh, but luckily it's not a very big system so should weaken quickly once it hits land and hopefully doesn't do much damage.

Flooding could be a problem on the coast I think, especially with a king tide.

This will be a test bed for our new premier to see how she handles a natural disaster.
