I was at NAPA Monday to get a spin on oil filter for the FJ (just in case it ever gets back together) and the parts guy told me that Feb 23-28th the NAPA oil filters will be on sale for half price.  I don't know if that is at all NAPA's so check.  NAPA Gold's (they are painted black) are WIX filters. There is probably a filter for a stock FJ also ?


Also as some here are more experienced in life don't forget that the BLM has a Senior Pass for a one time fee of 10.00 that will let you into the National Parks  free for life.  You have to be 62 years old and a citizen of the U.S..  I have used it in Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Lake Mead to mention a few.
Ten bucks for a lifetime pass ! I bought mine at the local BLM office here.

As a note:
"In a car the pass will admit everyone in the car with you. The Senior Pass admits pass owner/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas and pass owner + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, where per-person fees are charged. (Children under 16 are always admitted free.)"

NAPA Gold 1334 or Wix 51334 same part.  I paid 4.40 for the one I got on Monday. (4.15 plus Idaho Tax). I will get a few more and some for the Diesel when the sale starts.
