Hello every one of the FJ family group. We all know how it is to find front shocks for the early modle fj 1100 & 1200. I am in the second year of ownership of a 1986 1200 and been riding when I can with the weather in Colorado, it is a hit and miss, but any way give some feed back.
Which is more common to do a Honda or a Gsxr front fork set up. I am having problems understanding the info on a Honda. It says you need to flip or switch shock is that  from side to side? Also on a Gsxr set up, I well need to read over again it says it well need extension I don't know what extensions are.
Money is alway tight but I am getting things lined up to do the rear wheel conversion. Here in Denver a yard has a Gsxr with all parts for it, the brake line runs under the rear arm and not over it. The caliper does not have the banjo fitting on the outer caliper bore this might be a 91 or 92 year modle it is running a 170/60/zr17 tire. And I am buying a F4I rear shock I am looking to do all at one time.
I have the hard to find f-42 wheel and tire, also if I do go with the Gsxr front set up are the blue dots out of the picture or well thay mount onto the shocks?
