Ok, what is Down Under Worthy - Is my attempt to reduce the mailing costs from OS by going through the 'new' Australia Post Shopmate service a worthwhile topic.  A positive experience by the way but not sure worth the efforts unless a 25% discount was on offer.
I think I'm in danger of growing old badly but who bloody cares!

That makes sense that pie chart Andells. I have a few bikes and am a member of  each bikes forum.   This forums the most important of them cause its my
favorite bike to ride without doubt and has all the advice needed to keep it running sweet. The real bonus is the caliber of of the local forum members that you bump into every now and then..
With some of the other forums i have to go in as a guest, find what my user name is then try to remember my login word. Ive given up trying to login on a couple.

When your unlimited rpm gift card arrives let me know, i need a couple of things..

Hey Smitti, I had heard about it and was gunna trial it.....before the reality of our dollar value sunk in. So what did it cost?  :drinks:

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

ken65

At a guess Harvy if its not the nullabor then it should be, thats how i remember it 20 odd years ago.  Did you see any camels?

Harvy

no camels mate....emus and goats aplenty...... and no its not the Nullabor.

A hint.... that hill in the distance in the first pic looks rather broken.

Sorry mates but plenty of emus, goats and flat land with barb wire fences---looks EXACTLY like TEXAS.  Dave
A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

Actually, the second pic is very near Cockburn Ken.

All taken on the Barrier Hwy east and south west of Broken Hill.

Guilty as charged, check in quite often but whenever someone poses a question there are far more knowledgeable people than me on here to answer it so tend to keep pretty quiet and I haven't seen anyone else from Sth Oz on here yet we seem to be pretty well spread out, not like we can pop out and meet up somewhere for lunch, but if I can ever help someone out in this part of Oz I'm more than willing to do so.
Now I have posted if there are free gifts from RPM on offer can I have a rear shock for Christmas.

I'm a member of a pommy forum for my Suzuki x7 which has/had members worldwide, and the activity on there now is virtually non existent. In the beginning it was ok but there were only maybe a dozen who were regular posters out of a couple hundred members. I don't get on there much anymore because usually when I check in and hit the new post button theres nothing to view or to respond to. Not sure why the downturn, maybe people sold their bikes and felt they no longer belonged, I don't know. Going through the list of members some didn't even do a single post, so you wonder why they even joined in the first place.

This forum on the other hand is very active with a lot of regular contributors and it doesn't matter what the topic is,( impacted bowel for example ) its sure to get a reply. With some of the Aussie members not posting much Ken, maybe it's because we're such a laidback bunch and even though we might have something to say we just couldn't be bothered doing it. It's easier to read than to reply so maybe that's half the problem. I have my say occasionally because if everybody stopped being active then this forum will go the same way as the Suzuki one.
