Hi folks from across the pond, i live in England and last week i picked up a 1985 FJ1100. If the milage on the clock is to be believed it has only done 36,800 miles, of which i'ved already clocked up 300 miles. There are one or two things that need doing to the bike, which if you guys dont mind i will by trying to pick your brains for help and advice as and when i get down to sorting it out.

Welcome Ian,
You are in the right place here!!
I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'?

"Well. I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine."

Ian,

Welcome.  Glad to help and you'll find lots of knowledge here (some of it is even accurate :-)
You'll also find most of the common questions AND answers in the files section.

Cheers from DownUnder,
Arnie

Ian,

Welcome to the group. If you have questions ask away – you'll get plenty of answers. I see you are in Bristol. The FJOC in the UK is near you in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire. Check them out for parts/accessories/advice.
