Hey Klavdy, we could catch up with Lee on his return ride from Sturgis. Frank and I caught up with him near Douglas Wyoming at Ayers Natural bridge few years ago.

There is free camping there, not a bad place to hang out together for a couple of days.

Damn straight, brother.

Hey, both my kids live in Denver - we could drop by and scare the shit out of 'em. Bunch of flatlanders, rednecks, Californicators, and an unpredictable Aussie or two. Could be fun...

Great pics Alan! You need to convince Lee to attend next year's Dakota rally. I'd love another chance to talk with him.

Could be.  I don't think there was much difference in the 90 and the 100.

You know the DT-1 Yamaha is often credited as Japan's entry to dirt bikes, but the Hodaka (some US design but mostly Jap) may have the better claim.
There's nothing you can do that can't be done.

Rock,

You must have been referring to Lee's other famous words of wisdom, at least twice

I know where he lives, so that would be easy to do...................

I'll try my best to convince him to just come to the rally with us though.........

Met him at "Old Bike Night" since the weather wasn't too cold today............

The meetup was a bust..............There were only 4 bikes that showed up.
(2) RD-400s, and (2) FJ-1200s

But, I did get a chance to chat with Lee for a bit, and he is seriously considering the Central Rally...............
I forwarded him the Campground information, and let him know the dates everyone is heading up..............So he will most likely attend..........

I also "Confirmed" exactly how many miles he has on his FJ1100.......................214,000 miles! :yahoo:
