I just did the 3.5 inch FZR 1000 87 88 front wheel swap
Everything just bolted straight up and worked great
Alot more conferdents inspiring fell to cornering
More linear turn in, doesn't fee like you are riding on a triangle

I had to swap the rotors that came with FZR 1000 87 wheel because they were larger in diameter

I was wondering if FZR 1000 87 fork bottoms would work with 88 fj fork tubes and use fj brakes to keep stock look

So i can use the larger size rotors

Is there any good looking caliper adapters

You know that you don't have to use the larger 320mm rotors, correct? The 298mm FJ rotors will bolt right up to the FZR rim.

I don't know if the FZR lowers will mechanically adapt to the FJ stanchion tubes. Checking the Race Tech website I see they do use 41mm tubes.

A couple of things to consider 1) How will your fender attach to the FZR lowers? 2) you will lose the future ability to use the trick RPM valves.

Yes, 320mm rotors look trick, but on our street bikes, 298mm rotors work very well with up graded R-1 calipers, ss lines and a 14mm m/c.

I think the downside for using FZR lowers outweighs the upside. Just my opinion.

Personally, I would not consider any fork swap unless I could get at the minimum, cartridge forks out of the deal. To do all that work and end up with damper rod forks (without the ability to use RPM valves) is not attractive to me.

No need for bigger rotors, if you haven't already, upgrade the master cylinder for an FJR one or similar, Kawasaki is another choice, if you can't do a  stopie with that setup you aren't trying hard enough, you don't even have to use blue spots but they do look pretty.
