Looking for a custom red tube frame FJ 1100 I built in 2002

Hi all, Just wanted to post some pics of a custom FJ 1100 I built in 2002.  The guy I built it for passed away in 2002 before it was assembled and finished and everything was sold in an estate auction.  Would love to find it and buy it back or at least see that it got finished and works (hopefully works great).

Hey Corey, more info. is always helpful....like, where was the estate sale?
I have never seen pictures of this frame before...It's probably sitting in a garage somewhere. Shame.
What can you tell us about the frame?
Looks like you used a '86+ FJ tank, but where does the seat pan come from?

Would you consider building another?

i didnt/dont know much about FJ's or what that actual engine was. I know the forks were GSXR 750 and a CBR 900RR tail section. Custom battery box, etc, etc.  There are actually 2 bikes. The red one in aluminum and a second one in steel that never got the frame even finished.   the guy i built it for loved FJs and restored them and have like 4 or 5 of them. I think someone may have bought the whole lot and my frame was just in the pile.  I want to say the guys name was Mark that passed of diabetes (if that helps anyone who knew an enthusiast like that back in 02)
the estate sale was done in Orlando FL. I dont have any other info as date or company. Just remember it was in 02. I think i looked into it back in 04 and remember that it was purchased/located in Washinton state at that time. But i could be wrong. Dont want to mislead anyone.

I would love to build more. I dont have the jig anymore, so i would need a stock frame for dimensions etc. i have some other pics of a CBR 600 bike like that i built on my Greathouse Motors Facebook page.

I've always lusted after those Spondon frames.....Corey's FJ  frame would be trick.

Yes,  its all 4043 Aluminum.  TIG welded.  (the others are 4130 Chromoly).  I was AWS certified in TIG when this was built, but haven't renewed any certs because its not what I do for my 9-5 job.  Either way, I do fab work on the side all the time and would love to build another one of these!  Great looking bike without radiator in the way like the F4i.

I got the idea for these from Spondon and Harris frames and was looking to start a company when I graduated college in 02 (before the factory companies blew up the naked bike scene).  Built the 2 FJs and the one F4i, then couldn't stay in business when my one client passed, so I had to get a 'real' job and tinker with this on the side.  Still trying to keep the dream alive!

Frame looks great.What was the weight compared to stock ?

No idea.  The F4i frame was approx 20 lbs vs the stock F2 frame of 40 lbs.  The yellow frame on my Greathouse Motors FB was originally built for a 91 CBR600 F2 (all steel frame), which weighed 40 lbs.  My chromoly tube frame was 20 lbs.  The 2001 F4i aluminum frame was about 20 lbs, so not much weight savings over that stock frame when I switch the engines in the yellow frame.  More of the 'cool factor' than weight savings.  The FJ red aluminum frame had the tail section and battery box welded in solid.  I never actually got to weigh it finished, but def lighter than the steel FJ frame.  The chromoly was .065 vs the aluminum .120 wall.  Alum was a little lighter, but a ton more difficult to weld.
