I found a shop with great reviews and a fair price ($185 us), so I dropped it off last monday and was told it would be done by the end of the week. Called friday afternoon and was told that they hadn't gotten to it yet, but they would call me by 5pm to let me know it they could get it done by then, or if I could come pick it up Saturday morning. Well, no call, and they are closed Saturdays. Only reason that's relevant is that in the meantime, I was riding with the stock seat. Not to beat a dead horse, but the most uncomfortable thing about the stock seat for me is that it has room to slide around and forward, but the covering grips the pants, allowing you to slide forward, but the pants to remain where they are. An FJ wedgie! I was not amused, but still did about a 100mi round trip on Sunday. The softness of the original seat was very obvious, but not really uncomfortable, and had I lightly waxed or conditioned the seat, the wedgie may not have been a problem. Picked up the redone corbin on Monday. Great work, but extremely poor customer relations.

I wouldn't be hard on them Jerry,  a one week (Monday to Monday) turnaround is not that bad. The price is good. Who are they?

Interesting choice of skins...is that Ostrich?  What made you choose that?

It is a very nice looking seat.

Well, I don't think that the turn around was bad, it was telling me it would be ready by Friday, then not courtesy calling me to let me know it wouldn't be.
I wanted snake skin pattern, but they didn't have it in stock. There was another bike seat that they had waiting for pick up done in ostrich black and white. Not a bad looking pattern, so I went that way. My original seat had the passenger section done in white, but I have the black saddlebag straps running across there, so I went with the black ostrich there also, separated with a smooth black strip. Like it so far.., Oh, ABC Discount Upholstery here in Vegas. On-line reviews are pretty good, and a friend says his classic car club speaks highly of them.
