I see FJ1289  has a great idea using an offset front sprocket for the YZF600 rear wheel swap instead of machining the sprocket carrier(which I currently have sitting waiting to be machined) If anyone has tried this, let me know as I am not a big fan of permanently modifying existing parts. I would be concerned about counter shaft cover clearance using the R1 big tire kit one mentioned. Anyone try using a VF1000R front sprocket like I have seen mentioned in the 5.5" 180/55-17 articles to overcome the needed offset?
