New Grips and getting Bar Ends Off.

Hey Guys,
I'm having issues posting pics.
But am sure some light can be shed from the wise in here.
I need to fit new grips, No Big Deal.
But @&$% me getting the bar ends off is becoming an issue.
Any tips appreciated.

Pipe wrench.

Once they freeze up, it's hard to get them off without marring them.

If they get gouged too badly, you might then justify a set of vibranators from RPM.

Whatever you put back on, be certain to use a little anti-seize paste on the threads.

A pipe wrench works, wrap the end with some rubber or leather. do what I did. took one of my wifes leather belts that she never wears. hack it up and hide it. its been 2 years and she is still clueless....true story.
if needed try a little heat.

Make that a large pipe wrench (24 inch).  It is a good thing the handlebars are very strong.

Cough....errrr, Noel, do you often use such a fine, jewellers implement to attack such a beautiful piece of machinery? I don't see any method to measure the torque achieved! (I love that red colour though!)

Nah Doug, I would never be that rough on my own bike, but this was some one elses piece of ..... hang on...... isn't that.........

I didn't realise the whole bar end is threaded.
I really don't want to break anything.
So I'll ask a dumb question first, are the both lefty loosey, righty tighty.

Did need a little heat, but got them off.
Those anti vibration bar ends also links to a heap of other parts I'm gonna need.
