Yes, the powertrain is completely different, but where I see the similarity is in the concept of a more capable tourer.

Good looking bike but at that price I think they are going to sell very few. It looks like they took BMW, MotoGuzzi and a few other sport/tours, fed them into a computer and morphed them together.  Dave

Notice that the Cycle World article was dated August 2013.....It is now almost a full year later and....?

Last week I went to the Motus website to check in, see that's up, I clicked on their dealer map and noticed that they had no Motus dealers in SoCal....interesting.
No bikes, no local dealers, they sure make it hard to be optimistic.
