Well, MSN actually, but the  attitude and (lack of) quality are about the same.

I'll agree with the CB750 being on there. And the GSXR750. No CBX..or Z1...odd.

And a few "Wheels of influence:"  haven't even been released to the public yet.  What or whom did they influence?  :scratch_one-s_head:  It's just a bunch of bikes the author thought were neat.

While I don't see why some other bikes are there I can see why the FJ isn't --- even though I think its the best bike in the world.   Tech wise at the time it was overshadowed.   The 84 Ninja 900 ( which I also have and like--- but ironically is a pain in the ass as far as cooling goes ) brought the inline fours into the liquid cooled world.  Then the GSR -- with its light weight and oil-cooled motor were both significant changes.  In my mind the FJ holds even today against the updated tech motors in its simplicity and innovative features it does have ( re lateral frame..etc)  so that is significant to me..... just maybe not to the world.

Yup, the HD Street?? How about the Ducati 916. An icon if ever there was one. And no bias on my part at all. hehe

The comments below the article are telling. Nobody really seems to feel that the writer did more than write a "fluff" piece. Kinda like me: I don't think a 29 year old can tell me how to live a long life. A 129 year old, that's a different story.. I would have more confidence that the article had merit and had been peer reviewed if it were being presented in one of the more well known motorcycle publications..
